Dear Industry Partners,
We are excited to announce a new approach for Merchandise Display Programs at BCL. Effective as of July 2025, BCL has new fixed store groupings for agents to review and apply for. We are also providing Merchandise themes for the upcoming fiscal year to help you plan and prioritize promotional and pricing initiatives for sales driving SKUs. In preparation for this change, we are extending the deadline for FY26 July, August, September to end of day November 29th. If you have already submitted an application for FY26, July, August, September, please resend your application with the updated Agent Display Application form.
Please see attachment for the list of BCL Merchandise Display Programs Store Groupings. Attached to this email is a detailed list of stores that matches up with each display program. Going forward, starting for July/August/September displays, when you submit for a display program, please indicate which store grouping you are applying for and ensure your program and SKUs meet the applicable criteria. Please ensure your SKUs are currently listed in the stores under the group you are applying for – do not email the Category teams to request increased distribution as part of a display program submission.
For distribution and program eligibility, please note:
For any 4+ SKU display, 75% of the SKUs applied for must be listed in each individual store under the grouping
For any 3 SKU display, 2/3 SKUs must be available in each individual store under the grouping
For any 1 or 2 SKU display, SKUs must be available in each individual store under the grouping
Programs can be applied for individually (eg, Wine 1A in 59 stores) or combined (Wine 1A & 2A in 122 stores, or Wine 1A, 2A & 3A in 169 stores). BCL approval letters will confirm final store count.
How to Apply: (Refer to attached Agent Display Program Application)
After entering your program name and location request, please select which Display Space Category you are applying for in the drop-down menu of the Agent Display Program Application Form along with the specific display tier and combination of groups within that tier. For full stores available in each Group and tier please refer to the Store Groupings tabs that are separated out by location, to better assist you in your choices.
Please ensure you update the Merchandise Analyst and Merchandise Programs team on any TPR or WPP price changes.
FY26 BCL Merchandise Themes:
BCL monthly display programs and SKU selection are driven by forecasted SKU velocity, promotional pricing and traffic driving activations, exclusive offerings and perceived value for our BCL customers.
Please continue to apply for top programs each month across all categories. The themes below are important to note for strategic pricing activation timing and for SKUs to be selected for Merchandising or Agent displays as we head into 2025. For October through to December, priorities are top selling brands that necessitate holding power and can be refreshed monthly with new activations across October/November/December. In addition, BCL will be focused on the below categories/themes:
Q1 - April 2025:
Spirits – Low calorie cocktails (spirits that pair well with sodas)
Beer – Value beer, large formats
Wines – VQA, South America <$25, Pinots (Red/White/Rose) <$20
Refresh – New launch features
